The organ at St Mary's Church, Portbury

I returned to St Mary's this morning to have a go at getting an image of the organ, which was built by Vowles of Bristol.

As in most churches, there is a lot of clutter which is nowadays deemed necessary, but detracts from the image - nothing to be done about it though!

Seems like you've captured two organs John, or is the small more modern one some other form of musical instrument.
The piped version looks wonderful piece of workmanship. We'll captured John
    Peter

Lovely shot John, pity about the notice board. Think I would have checked the vicar was not around and moved it

I did look into moving the notice board, but it is very firmly attached so as not to fall on anyone (Elf & safety gets in the way again!)

Lovely warm tones of the stone and organ.
