        I like that - normally I would try and manoeuvre myself to avoid street furniture, but in this case (since it is of correct vintage) it adds to the image.

            I was quite happy with the lamp too as it is, as you say, appropriate. I did remove all the aerials and alarm boxes though!...

                  Lovely shot. I photographed that area 50 years ago. I think it looks very much the same apart from the double yellow lines.

                    I did clone out a lot of arials and things which I don't think were there then but beyond that little has changed from those days --the Chichester Society wouldn't stand for it...
