    The nuts 'n' bolts of Paignton Pier

    One of the cross braces holding the pier up. I tried a mono conversion but it lacked the rusty texture of this one.
    Incidentally, I cheated creating the bokeh as I didn't have a fast enough lens with me so just selected the background and reduced the sharpness

        A very artistic image John with plenty of detail, I may be tempted to lift the shadows of the right side bolts to see a bit of detail in them.

            The sun was so low and bright that I was never going to lift the shadows and meaningful amount (I did try )

                I'm with Alan regarding the uncropped version. I think I would have preferred the original if it had been sharp throughout.

                    Neat, though I can see where you haven't quite blurred the background. Worth another try with a wide aperture lens I reckon.
