    Chichester Cathedral

A few weeks back I happened to be at Chichester Cathedral just as the sun was setting.
I knew the shot I wanted to take, however like most cathedrals the one at Chichester has buildings close by which meant I could not get far enough away and of course I did not have the necessary lens!
This one is about the best of those I took, I may post another pic in the future.
As always all comments, help and observations gratefully received.
    Rose.

Now there's a familiar sight... Don't think I've got one from this position at sunset - must rectify that...

Have you tried stitching shots together? I find that can be a handy trick when I don't have a wide enough lens available.

PS nicely done on hiding the scaffolding...

                  Thank you for looking Nigel.
It was not a planned photo shoot! More of being in the right place at the right time. & the light was truly amazing.
The side I wanted to take the photo from (and where the light shone) was covered in the scaffolding so I walked around the entire cathedral looking for the ideal snap. This one was the last pic of the day.

I have not thought about stitching shots together, will try and remember that!
