    Arundel castle

I've been to Arundel a couple of times in recent weeks and thought I would share some photos of the castle with you.

The first shot was taken when I was a passenger in a car and we were moving at the time so it will not be the sharpest you've seen, however, apart from cropping it is straight out of the camera with no pp work.
I have not seen the castle looking like that before; it must have been a stray sunbeam lighting it up as there was no processing work.

The second shot is a more traditional view of the castle whilst the third one shows part of the town with the castle as a backdrop (this last one is cropped to remove the cars on the road; hence you can only see the top part of the houses!).

        Thanks Trev.
It is the Duke of Norfolk's residence; he comes to Sussex for horse racing at Goodwood and also for the car racing at the Goodwood festival of speed and revival meetings.
The castle is open to the public, in good few years they used to stage Shakespeare plays in the courtyard (I don't think they still do this).

A good set Rose ..I passed there last week - it was raining so I could only grab a few dull shots.... I'm envious of the lighting conditions you had especially for the first shot where only the castle is picked out.

I don't think its open for a month or so yet if planning a visit anyone.
