    Waning Moon - April 13, 2020

    Out fairly early this AM and noted the moon - grabbed the closest camera (Canon T4i with Tamron 18-400mm) and took this shot handheld at 400mm. I did a small bit of sharpening and a 50% crop. But, after looking at John's colored moon pics, I'm feeling a bit (lot!) outclassed!!

            You can always use a Tripod, shoot 40-ish images and stack them... it's not difficult... :-)
            Oh and nice image!

              I'd be really happy to get that, particularly hand held. How long was the exposure? Great job.

                  Thanks - photo was shot at 400th/sec, f6.3 and ISO 400. This was the 5th shot out of 6 (individual not continuous shots) and the sharpest of the lot. 2 of the rest were 'ok' - but 3 were not sharp at all.
