    Shine a light

This is one from 2014 which I've only just processed, the light and the approaching storm with the valley/pass ( Glen Tarrbert) though the high ground on the other side of the Loch was what caught my eye. B&W isn't my normal style but I thought I would give this an airing to see what peoples thoughts on it were.
I was only visiting a nearby hotel for something to eat, so I only had the camera with me, no tripod so it was just a snapshot really.

Thanks Tom, normally I don't consider a B&W conversion. Usually I glance at the colour version and if I don't think it worth processing I move on to the next image, hoping to find one worth spending a little bit of time processing it. Thankfully I don't delete the image that initially I thought to not to be worthy of my processing time, a practice which proved positive in this case.

Super image in B&W but for me your colour image scores higher- the clouds are special.

But then my default button is colour not mono!

There's a fabulous three dimensional quality to the clouds in both shots. OK I could live with less water and more cloud in #1 but hey that's just me.
