    A good subject with excellent DoF. Works well in mono and would have been a viable candidate for this month's competition.

        Superb Gary, I really like that, but ............... I like the processing how it is, but the frost crystals look rather dirty. If I may suggest a careful selection and lighten the crystals.

        Here is what I had in mind:

            No problem Trev. I try and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, it's a well seen and taken image.

                John I have already entered the monthly comp with another image, thank you for you thinking it is good enough.
                Colin thank you for taken the time to amend my image. As I recall the frost crystal were more grey than white (likely between our two PP) due the frost melting and the black metal showing thru the frost,
