    Zig zags

    I thought this might make a good mono subject as the light on the balustrade was so much brighter than the background......EOS R +RF24-105 F4L

    Yes see what you you mean Brian, but are the trees a little too dark. Not being into mono this may not be a good comment. But yes its a nice shot - you posted it, you like it, that's all that matters

          I think Trev was suggesting the trees were already too dark, which is also what I was thinking. Having said that, I actually prefer the second, more contrasty version, especially with the background people removed.

            Brian that was not what I meant, but now I like that a lot better - it was the tree's in my first post that I was referring to.

              Sorry Trev....that's what happens when I'm not properly awake!....must have been in the back of my mind that they should be darker.
