    My first attempt at high key photography.
    Taken on St Andrews beach.

    Very good Gary, however I may be talking out the top of my head here, but I would have lost a bit of the foreshore thus bringing the personal a bit closer, thus a bit bigger. That's just me who's never done any high key photography.

      Could lose a bit off the bottom but keeping the reflections of the paddle boarders. I'd also be inclined to lose the canoeists as they compete with the boarders for attention.

      The high key approach works well though.

        I have cropped the bottom. Nigel I will leave the canoeist in as I have an image without the canoeist and one with a line of canoes

          Nice work Gary, cropping a little of the foreground as previously suggested works or at least it does when I scroll the image on my tablet
