    East Shag Rock

As viewed from the 'Posh Beach Huts'

Two stops under and converted to mono:

East Shag Rock by John Leah, on Flickr

Note: the ship to the left is HMM Copenhagen who had been with us for a few weeks despite being fully loaded with thousands of containers (I understand due to port congestion) and to the right is P&O ship Aurora who has been with us for months but, today at 2 o'clock, she sails and that will be the end of Cruise ships in Torbay.

    Cheers,
    John

I like that John, lovely shot. Pity the Aurora never anchored a little further to Port, you would have got Berry Head in

Thanks Trev. Yes, I could have moved to get Berryhead in but then the rock wouldn't have been central. Anyway, I've got loads of shots of BH but few of East Shag

Actually, it's not Aurora but Arcadia and when she left this afternoon she first came in quite close to Torquay before turning about and heading out.
