    Thanks for taking a look and your comments, Richard and David. I looked at various crops but this one did it for me - as stated the interest is in both the sky and the foreground reflections. I was hoping for a striking sunset shot over the water but the weather put paid to that!

    Nice photo Peter. I think you have got the balance right, and great to get the cloud burst. The colours have come out well, I think - gives a nice glow to everything. You could try a panorama crop 16:4 ratio or whatever it is. Take a little of the foreground - maybe from the tide line - this would create a diagonal - and just a bit from the top to balance the image. Just a thought - it may or may not actually work?? This might help the eye to focus on the image in terms of the horizontal lines - then the diagonal of the tide line to lead your eye in the picture, and then the rain creates another line down - so your eye kind of moves in a circle.
    (Hope this doesn't sound like pure drivel!)
