        Alex,

Great shot makes me feel homesick.

How much post production was done?

Very nice indeed. Lovely composition and very clever use of shape and line to achieve a very impressive image. Nice one!

Hi Mal. I used a curves layer around the sun and the also the FG, then I reduced the saturation of the sky on the left.

Cheers John. I was there for about 30mins though I only took about 6 shots as I just sat there watching the light and clouds change, what a great site it was.

                  Alex,
Not sure what is happening but I am unable to see the image. However, I have seen the one you posted the other day on CFF which is to die for....

                    Hi David

Not sure what happened to it, I could see it when I went to edit it there but it disappeared again so I upload it from Photobucket this time. Maybe another one of the many vB4 bugs.

Well it's back at the top, I hope you like this one also.

Thanks for sorting out such a brilliant shot. The ND grad really does make a difference. Your landscapes are one of my achievement goals.
Any chance of posting the one from CFF here??

                        Alex,

Went into my local Jessops to obtain a ND 0.9 Grad but they had never heard of one. Can you give me any details on the manufacturer and where you obtained yours.

                        Slàinte,

                          Malcolm,
I bought a Cokin (P Series) ND 0.9 Grad (P121) from my local Jessops in High Wycombe this afternoon so they do have them. Now this is not to say that Alex uses Cokin ;-)

EDIT: I noticed that 7 Day Shop also has Cokin ND Grads as well as screw in ND Grads and about GBP£5 each cheaper than Jessops. Sometimes 7 Day's delivery times are a bit unusual but they do get things to you.
