            Really nicely composed with the splash of pink to balance the image.

              Something of a fortuitous accident Tom. Beyond the well is the village church but I couldn't find a composition where the well and the church didn't overlap and didn't look awkward so in the end I decided to hide the church altogether - clearly a good decision...

                I like this a lot as it has good composition with some striking colours Only comment is could some of the interesting detail of the winding gear be extracted from the shadows?

                  Thanks John. You can see a bit more detail in the full size Flickr Version... Probably could get quite a lot more but it might start looking a bit unnatural I suspect.

                    One handy thing with IR is you get to keep shadow detail better than with regular daylight...
