    The spring is fed from the Mamaku Plateau where the water takes up to 100 years to
    filter through; the resulting water is so pure and clean that it produces a beautiful
    blue colour while being virtually clear.
    I took these shots last weekend but it's one of those situations where the photo's don't do it justice!

        Looks a really nice place. A polarising filter might have been useful especially in the first shot.

                    You're right Farider ... it is still very green but it's only early Winter!

                    ST-EOS - Not sure about trout here but it's abundant in most of the nearby lakes.
