Posh Beach Huts at Meadfoot Beach

These were built not too long ago by the local council at an eye watering cost to the locals. I'm sure some are occupied.

Nice lead-in to a lovely view John, don't think I will be rushing to purchase a hut though.

        Thanks guys

I could see the potential of those lead ins and was taking great care to align them... when a woman walked right past me and down the prom so I had to wait for her to disappear into the far distance.

Own one? But of course... I'm a Torbay council tax payer so I own a share in all of them (that's how it works isn't it? )

        Cheers,
        John

              Lovely composed photo, well done.
I've not seen any of the new style beach huts before - I had to look to see the cost of those at Meadfoot .......
Ground floor level £1530 1 April to 31 March
First floor level £1800 1 April to 31 March
              Sun Terrace 1st Floor £2896
I guess these are the annual costs, don't think I'll be rushing to rent one anytime soon!

Really nice, and particularly enhanced by the shadow of the rail forming a 'track'. Also really helpful to the shot is that one is occupied, which breaks the line but turns it from a potentially abstract to real-life.
