For once I went out in the morning, well late morning anyway, to get some shots of this local pond. Normally I don't make it out until the afternoon when the sun has moved too far round to really get a good shot from this direction...

Thanks again for the very kind comments.

IR fascinated me even before digital but other then a brief dabble with film I never really pursued it as it was such a hit and miss faff. Digital has proved a boon as you can get an instant view of how the image looks and if you need an exposure adjustment.
