    Very nice indeed John. Pity you could not have knocked the top of the hedge off to get the ray reflections on the sea.

      Thanks Trev.

      That hedge (actually now a line of trees) used to be trimmed by the council but they abandoned maintenance of all the boundaries some time ago but I hope they won't get any higher as it really does reduce our sea view from upstairs and entirely blocks it entirely from the ground floor. Not much that I can do about it, though, as the trees are actually clinging to the cliff edge so I'm not going to climb over in the middle of the night with my chainsaw. Where's there a bit of coastal erosion when you want it?
