    Lighting advice for food photography

    Hi Guys

Hope your all well, it's been while since posted in the forum. I'll be going to the Photography show in Birmingham to spend some cash :)

I need some advice on the type of lighting when taking photo's of food. I'll be hopefully purchasing either the Sigma 105mm or the Cannon EF 100mm.

I have often thought the ring macro lighting might be a good choice, but I've just seen one brought out by Cannon not cheap.

I generally use natural lighting which means I can only take daytime shots. I'm looking to spend around £350 on the right lighting gear so I would appreciate the advice, as I would like to get it right.
