    its a local courts - looked interesting during the day but knew a night shot would make it more darker

              Perhaps an alternative crop to remove a fair amount of the foreground

                  Just had a play with your image ( hope you don't mind ) and flipped the right hand arch and moved it to the left giving you the fifth light, I'm sure with your PS skills you could do it better than I or perhaps you like it as is

                    Nicely exposed and composed shot

                    I like the extended foreground as it aids the drama of my imagining the slow walk of a manacled man being led to his fate

                    A four second exposure... I suspect mounting a tripod outside the Old Bailey in the middle of the night you wouldn't get that long!

                      Yes it did work out at night! I'd leave the foreground in to. Adds to the foreboding feel in my view.

                          Ian, love the mood, great capture and processing as always. Shame about the missing light, but I guess that's more down to Spanish electricians than you...
