cheers Peter - all processed at the same time, but some extra work on the tiles as I wanted to lead people into the shot and with the floor being the same colour as the walls it was all a bit flat

Cheers Alan only used 5 on this shot as I knew the outside was going to be blown, plus it was grey yuck so didn't try the recover it

This looks stunning on flickr and worth all the hard work.

Could really do with an ethereal tonsured figure floating along

.....................or maybe a girl with long dark hair & a flowing white dress

As we've come to expect this is a stunning piece of processing of a really interesting and dramatic subject That said it could do with a slight anti-clockwise twist and it's a pity some of the windows are a touch burned out.

thanks Bo, and yes floating figure would be great, I'm starting to look into composite photography, but not easy

Thanks John, I wasn't worried about the blown windows, I could have pulled them back but I liked the look - also by twisting it the walls go off and yes I did try

Lovely image, Ian, and as always you've really created a mood. And you've just about got away with the wonkiness of the pillars and arches. Just a thought, following on from your thoughts about the blown windows, I agree with you and I like the feel it gives, but couldn't you therefore go the whole hog and also remove the detail showing in the middle arches? Then I think you would get an even more 'surreal' feel to it.
