    The great hall

I wanted to get the ceiling in hence the angle and the somewhat lost verticals :) plus at the bottom of the far wall was a very ugly stage.. The blown windows I didn't try to recover as basically it was grey yuck outside

good symmetry and processing, with the general colouring I don't think the blown windows are a problem

cheers Stan - I did desaturate the image to make it blend better with the windows, so looks like I got that right

You got some great places to photograph Ian, that maybe why you haven't moved to birding yet.

            Well done

Ok, this has to stop. First wonky verticals are not a problem, now blown highlights are not a problem. Stan, has someone hacked your account???

              Excellent work Ian

                  Re: The great hall

Definitely needs the converging verticals as they give a sense of recession in the perspective and hence distance and from that sheer size...

Excellent Ian. The blown windows actually add to the feel of the shot.
