    Staires with a view

    I like the darkness leading into the light although it was a PIA getting the PP right

    Took me a second or two to work out PIA. I like the darkness too of the shot and the view

        thanks guys for commenting thought this was a bit of a fail...

        I knew the dark lead in would split the group, but you should know me Stan I do like to be dark :) - Glad you liked it Dave ... Cheers for commenting guys

                thanks Bo.. we are look for different things within an image, I quite like the idea of coming out of darkness into bright light

                  Agreed. But when my eye dismisses 40% of the picture because it's giving me nothing I look to what is inside the light to be exceptional. And in this case it doesn't seem so to me.

                  Full marks for the processing - as ever with Mr Goth- but the composition lets it down for me. sorry!

                          I'm happy with using the darkness to direct the viewer to the window as that's the effect I was seeking with my recent chicken coop. My only issue is that the darkness isn't balanced and I'd have liked to see the same level of honey-coloured detail given to the left also applied to the right hand side.
