    Belchite War Cross

    with the awful weather I desaturated the image further - Normally when I see a cross I look the other way but I just loved this metal cross

      Interesting way the clouds seem to converge towards the cross from both sides, is this an artefact of a wide angle lens being used?
      Nice picture, but I find myself wondering what the bottom of the base looks like, and why it's not shown...........?

        Yes Richard its an effect of using a lens so wide, this was taken at 11mm -

        The base was just dirt and nothing of interest and I thought this composition worked better as I did like the way the grass was at the bottom of the grass rather than dirt

            Wow, you have really created some drama with that image. I'm expecting something to come rising up out of the ground...
