    Eiffel Tower

Well you have to don't you...

Eiffel Tower in the Blue Hour... by Richard Anderson, on Flickr

Taken over two separate visits. The blue hour photographs, the light at the bottom was just perfect, but by the time we got to the top, the dark had properly descended and the cityscapes were not brilliant as photographs, even if the view was amazing. The first visit, the lifts weren't working and I certainly was not in any mood to walk up the darn thing!!!

    Thanks for looking

Yep you do have to, don't you?

Quite difficult finding something different when it's been photographed a trillion times - you have done well especially with the blue hour shots.

Also having looked at your flickr pics you managed to find some interesting and unique angles. Congrats.!

Thanks for that Bo - uniqueness and the Eiffel Tower no longer go together for photographers! But it was fun! And there were gazillions of people taking photographs - mainly with flash

        And thanks Supergeeman!!!

        Best

Nice images even if some are familiar views. Got a bit fed up of people with smart phones when I was there some time ago.

At one time they were proposing that you'd have to pay to take images of the thing, not sure how that would have worked.
