    Alternate Florence

Birthday treat was 4 days in Florence last month. Such a beautiful and charming city. The challenge besides photographing the obvious was to find something different..... Cue either the early morning walk or look for a different angle.

A few below. C&C welcomed, as ever

Very nice images Bo, hope you had a great time. Just a quick question though, did you intentionally chop David's tackle off:roll eyes: ha

      Re: Alternate Florence

I think you have a wonderful set here..I especially like No 5 with the broken reflections and colours. The last comes a close second for me. No 2 almost looks like the floor is not flat but like a bowl...an optical illusion no doubt I created by design of the floor. Its a wonderful place I'd love to go again sometime...only been there once on a sweltering August day.

A great set I'd like to say 'streets paved with gold' is my favourite but struggle with the blue trainers.

        Cheers,

Really good set Bo, particularly the low angle of the second

Wow, Bo, what a stunning set. Love them all for different reasons. I think my faves are the Duomo floor and the Ponte Vecchio. Was this just rested on the bridge railing or did you take a tripod?

Alex- both the Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo floor were taken with a tripod, the latter just before man in uniform came over to say "no tripods"

I also like the paved gold shot but maybe crop out the trainers.

A lovely set of images of such a stunning city, been there on a number of occasions & find the architecture, sclupures etc so beautiful but unfortunately people do get in the way.

                              Re: Alternate Florence

I did try the golden pavement at first just by itself but in the end decided it needed "Grounding " with a pair of feet so borrowed a passing person.

Cheers chaps & chapesses, I appreciate the feedback.
