    Hill Top Church

the weather was really awful and yes shortly afterwards got a soaking, so with the sky I decided to process it darker and desaturate the image to make it more moody, I know different for me LOL

Ooh this is bleak- and I can imagine bats flying out of the "castle"

Still you've made something memorable out of what sounds like a poor day for taking shots

    Unmistakably Tiggerish!

Like the processing but the shooting angle looks a bit too extreme for this sort of building although I think it would work better if both sides of the building were sloping at the same angle

cheers Stan - that was the best angle as I was on the edge of a rockface with a large drop below me, any further left and I would be here now :)

reason I mentioned that was I had a quick play using the distort tool in PS like you would for sorting converging verticals but just used it to pull the left hand side without touching the right

The processing of the sky really makes this stand out, love the contrasting colours and shades, excellent job 👍

Really like how you've processed the image it certainly works for the kind of poor weather you describe.

That's a great shot and I love the PoV. But surprisingly for me the sky is just a little too much, almost distracts from the subject matter

Very nice, Ian, and loving what you've done with that sky. But now that Stan has said it, the 'lean to the right' has started to bother me. Blame him Perhaps a little rotation of the whole image if the distort doesn't work out?
