    Very atmospheric image! I'm intrigued by the design of the lights - they manage to produce plenty of illumination without any direct glare.

    Hope you didn't subsequently get arrested as a night prowler! :-)

            probably a lot down to the way I processed the image as I used radial filters

              A great image Ian - I suspect the lights avoid glare because the actual source of illumination (bulb) is housed well up inside the conical top of the lamp.

                  I love it. Very much my type of photo - it's very obvious what it is, but it intrigues me as to why the woman is walking alone down that lane late at night.
