    The Well

    I wanted to try a different process with this shot so gone a tad heavy than I would normally go, but think it works

            I really like that but the white areas upstairs are distracting from the main part of the image. I think it might be improved if you were to burn them.

              Agree with Wayne. Personally I would crop down to delete the top area.

                  cheers Wayne, theres no data to burn it was harsh sunshine and heavy shadow - but agree with John the crop also works

                  I suppose I liked the harsh shadow & bright sunlight

                    Works for me, too. As Tom says it feels very cold and foreboding - not like your usual courtyard images, but none the worse for that.

                          Very nice Ian. However I note that the horizontals need a bit of attention,as seen on my monitor.

                            I considered a crop but I like the full arches. IMHO a crop would lose too much of a good pic.
