    Warm Cloisters

    Processed to be a little warmer that the last few cloisters. although got another dark on I'm planning on soon :)

    Thats really nice Ian...I'm first drawn to the aperture with the tree...then I'm wanting to know what's down the path on the right. Lovely image.

      I think you may have given a lot of consideration to the composition of this one as that tree is central in the arch yet you are also in the perfect position to reveal a tantalising glimpse of where the path to the right is heading. With more colour and warmth I do prefer this to the Gothic gloom of yesterday

        thanks Brian I did try to get some interest with the path as I though it lead into the shot well

        cheers John, I did have just a few attempts to the composition to get this right, I think with the failed images I've just cleared 25% of my hard drive LOL especially as it was a 7 bracket shot .... Glad you liked it

                      worth all the hard work, I'd say.

                      Like the composition and, because it's not too dark, you maintain the interest in the darker foreground.
                      Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......
