    Palm Bridge

taken just before the sunset shot and using the steps to lead in ... I think without the sunset it works with the different angle and the clouds that were around.. ??

    Re: Palm Bridge

I like the scene and I like the processing but the composition with two sets of steps I find confusing as I don't know which lead-in to use and my eye flits between them without really entering the picture

    Cheers,
    John

cheers John and thanks for the feedback - I didn't get confused with the lead in's with this shot, but interested to hear if others find it confusing, but thanks anyway John

like the processing on this one

I think with the two lots of steps you effectivly have two shots but neither work individually as well as both in the same frame

              Re: Palm Bridge

I hadn't really taken much notice of the steps on the right...........until John's comment. Now of course, my eye keeps going to them.
Still a very nice shot and much better on Flickr.

Wow, and I couldn't get away from the weird fog around the palms! I assume that is from the HDR processing?

Wow. That's the trouble with choice! When I first saw this I went to the sky as the colours drew me in; then the larger set of steps and only after I read all the comments did I think about the steps on the right. Saw them, just did not follow them as I had been around the photo. Like it for what it is - an interesting shot. But.....
