Hi Tom, The sky is great, and the aeroplane passing by is a lovely little moment. Can I make an observation: While I like the silhouettes, IMHO I find them a little distracting from the main business of the image. I wonder whether a portrait exposure would have made for a more dynamic shot, a slightly different POV; I've never been to NYC so not familiar with the layout of Battery Park, apart from from Ken Burns' documentaries.

Thanks Tom. I did a couple in the portrait mode, but I much preferred the landscape version as it showed more of the sky.

That's fair enough Tom, it's all subjective isn't it. It is an interesting photograph.

Missed this when first posted Tom. Wow what a sky and I like how everything else is in silhouette. What is the bridge on left of shot called? Looks like the Sydney Harbour bridge.
