    Gunwharf Quays

    During Cowes Week nipped over to Gunwharf Quays on the very good value (£7) 'shoppers' daytrip.

    1. Gone Fishing

    2. Osborne house Catching the sun

    3. The Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower (All 560' of it)

    4. Figurehead

    5. Hovercrafts passing (left the stern of the boat in ... to show what was leaving the wake)

    6. Sadly - One aircraft carrier for sale - one careful owner (HMS Richmond in the foreground is a Type 23 frigate)

      These are really nice MX5 and interesting.
      Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower cost £35million to build, and costs just £8.25 per adult, quite reasonable.
      Did you go up it?

      I enjoyed viewing these
