    Chester Zoo Lanterns

We went to Chester Zoo to see the Lanterns. It was very busy, I wasn't allowed a tripod and think it was one of the most challenging subjects I've tried to photograph. Here are a few that I think worked.

Well done, they're good pictures of a tricky subject. When I did the illuminated display at Wisley a year or so ago I used a tripod and that was pretty well essential as I had to used timed exposures, Free hand would be difficult.

Very well done hand held. Can't understand why no tripods? I have used them in similar circumstances at the Longleat lanterns and other places over the years.

Very well done. I did Kew Gardens and because of the number of people there was no room for a tripod, so I used my mono pod and even that was not that easy.
