Coniferous Woodland

This should have been in the Birds section!
Took myself off on one of my more lengthy walks this morning, that turned out to be a very frustrating one. The whole time I was in this woodland I could hear the very distinctive jip jip call of Crossbill's in the canopy above me.. At one point I saw several flitting between the high branches, but no chance of a shot.

Frequently seems to happen in woodland settings Trev but at least you ended up with a decent shot anyway.
