On a misty morning we can just hear the shooting further up Glen Tilt at the rifle range. The targets are middle right and the distance poles are coming back up the glen the furthest being more than half a mile from the targets.

Trev it is the Jubilee Range, the longest civilian range in the world. Furthest distance from targets is 1233 yards.

Lovely image and interesting information David, I wasn't aware of this shooting range, unless I've erased it from my memory banks . I do remember the stag targets in the castle grounds though.

Have you done any shooting at Jubilee.

Thanks David. I have a Ex service friend who was a sniper and he now does a lot of competition shoots and I've heard him mention Corft Corbie

Very interesting to see David, hadn’t heard of this range; the one I’m familiar with is Bisley, that goes up to 1200yds.
