A few from Skye and surrounding area

Hi all - not been posting for a long time due to ongoing health issues - now reduced to "out of the car" shots.

Just back from a trip to Skye, so thought I'd share a few of them with you. All shots are hand held, apart from the last one

    1. Going up the Bealach na Bà HDR (Canon R5 with RF 24-105 f4-7.1 is (thought I'd give this lens a try as it's super light))

Going up the Bealach na Bà by Lez501, on Flickr

    2. Isle of Skye from the Bealach na Bà HDR (Canon R5 with RF 24-105 f4-7.1 is STM) - not as scary as made out IMO

    3. Fisherman at Camus Malag, Skye (Canon R5 with RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS) - on good weather days, gives an alternative view of Blà Bheinn (Blaven)

    4. Loch Damh, near Tornapress (R5 RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS) - going back to this location to get down near the water's edge

    5. The Ben, from Corpach (Canon R5 with RF 24-105 f4-7.1 is STM) - Had to go to Fort William to stock up on food, so spent an hour here

    6. Eilean Donan Castle With Moon HDR (5Ds EF24-105mm f/4L IS II) - cannot go to Skye without obligatory shot of Eilean Donan (this was actually taken on last year's trip)

Your car window clearly looks out onto some great scenes...

            Like that lot a lot...

More like the car boot, good to sit on I'm pleased to say. Only one I had to walk a little was Ben Nevis at Corpach

Excellent set, especially #7. It rained every day when I was there, so had to make do with the Talisker distillery! Every cloud ...............!

Some cracking shots and I love them all

For one reason or another (especially Covid) I haven't been to Scotland for about five years but I fully intend to rectify that next year.

                              Cheers,
                              John
