    St James Quarter Views.

The new shopping centre and housing in Edinburgh is now open with one floor to be finished, but here are the views from the third floor windows.

The tram line is being extended down to Leith and is causing traffic chaos to get into the city centre, as can be seen from this shot.

Nice view across the bay David, viewing large on flickr reveals the chaos in all it's glory.

Good views David, what strikes me in the first shot is the sea of chimney pots in the foreground!

Some fantastic views. It will be amazing to live there when they are finished.

For Trev's remark of queuing for petrol, I live in very rural Dorset and I was out during the week at 6am and drove by cars queuing for fuel, even though the forecourt wasn't open until 7am. I tried very hard not to feel smug as I drove by .......................... in my electric car!
