Good Start to the New Year.

Woke up to four inches of snow, Bank Holiday for the next two days up here, so no snow plough and I will not be going anywhere for a few days. Log fire roaring.

Nicely done David, I bet you're pleased that you've got the Caveman's TV to look at.

Lovely set David. It looks pretty but cold - made bearable by the log fire.
I’m on the south coast and it rained here relentlessly yesterday.
Happy New to you and your family.

Looks great but can be very restrictive. Lots of rain here on edge of the Pennines. At least reservoirs are now full.

A lovely set David, a bit of a nuisance but does give good photo opportunities! A happy new year to you.

                      Very nice photos!

I wish we has snow here in South Devon, I would then hopefully go out with my camera.

Thanks All, the only trouble with having snow over the new year is that in Scotland it has been a double Bank Holiday so no snow plough and the hill in the second shot became just compacted snow and ice. Thanks to today being a bit warmer and it is raining, tomorrow will be the first time I have ventured out in the car as we have had minus temperatures every night and what melted during the day froze on the roa.
