    Primed

Primed is from my Reptiles & Amphibians collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. I was able to (VERY slowly) maneuver my way around the subject until I got directly above it. I just knew it was going to jump away at any second, but for some reason it didn't. Usually a Leopard frog like this one won't let you get within 10 feet of it before it's gone. This one was totally cool with getting some camera time. I was even able to capture a couple of frames where I was closer to it than this. Got real lucky with this subject and the unique perspective!
