Acclamation

Acclamation is from my The Beauty Within collection and was composed at the Yonce Farm in Ridge Spring, SC. Yonce Farm is a magical place for a macro photographer. For me, the background colors here were simply spectacular. I really had 3 artistic goals with this one. 1) capture those colors, 2) incorporate some of the chicken fat, and 3) focus on the anthers without losing any of my prior components. I also loved the backlighting coming in from the LHS lighting up the bottom of the anthers.
