Does anyone here contribute to iStock or any other microstock website?

This tweet made me sit up and take note. Diamond on #iStock after 1 year and 3 months of active uploading.

Laflor has 3200+ images uploaded. He has made over 25,000 sales. Not Bad!

That made me dig a little deeper.

Have a look at Yuri Arcurs's portfolio and figures. Since the end of 2005 he's uploaded 5300+ images and made over 820,000 sales.

I'm guessing that contributors of this calibre are possibly making $4 USD per sale. Do the calculation!

Take a look and what Istock say they’re looking for, and just as importantly what they don’t want.
Their descriptions of what they don't want appeal to my sense of humour.
