    A New Start

Started a new job over the weekend as a freelance photographer, I will now be supplying images for the local and surrounding area news papers.

Not to dissimilar to what I've been doing for the past 2 years for the hu17 website, but financially i should be much better off (I hope).

Not a lot more to say really just hope to get my work and name out to a larger audience.

Will you be tied to them with a contract? Heard so many stories of folk signing contracts and end up losing the rights to their images. Are you still able to submit to agencies like Demotix of something?

I'm not contracted as such, but must supply images from local events that they need covering, and I'm paid for covering the event not selling them an image, copyright of the images are still mine. But it wouldn't be a problem either way as long as i get paid for covering the event I'm happy.
