    7D stops movie during shooting

    Hi Everyone!

I experienced a little problem with my 7D while I was shooting a movie. A little indicator came up on the screen what tells that my card is not fast enough to capture the footage and eventually stopped the shooting. Im using a Sandisk Extreme card (32GB) with a 60Mb/sec writing speed which is more than enough according to the manual. Although it happened once and since then I updated my firmware to 1.2.5 I was wondering if anyone came across with the same problem or has any idea how to avoid this situation in the future.

Thank You very much for your help!

I've tried quite "long sequences" ... several minutes ... but I use Lexar UDMA 300x which is about 45Mb/s (if I'm doing my sums right) ... and have had no problems with various firmwares (but not tried several minutes of video with firmware 1.2.5). I know the 7D will give up if things get too hot.
