    A conundrum

I went out with the wrong lens for wildlife photography, waiting for a steam hauled train to pass and this wandered down the track.

My wife sent the image to a Wild Cat group who are sure it's a genuine wildie, I have to say it has the look of a hybrid to me, but without dna we can not be sure. I have been back to the area looking for scats but nothing found yet, it was hunting the rabbits on the railway bank.

The important thing is that you were there in the right place at the right time to see it at all, a real bonus. I don’t expect that it was there that long as its clearly seen you. It was good that you were able to get a shot of it.

Thanks the wife was alongside with my old 100-400, she got a bit better shot of it. It was much bigger than any domestic cat I have ever seen.
