    Selection of Brown Hare images

Over the last 2 weeks I have been stalking a hare on a heathland area. Here is a selection of some of the image, most days I have only seen one hare. This Monday morning an other hare appeared, but no fight just flight.
The action shots were taken with my TC 1.4x.
Thanks to various members for their advice re fieldcraft about hares

Nice set Gary, by any means they are not the easiest of creatures to photograph. I been over looking at mine over the past week, watching the lay of the land - where they come out from etc. etc. They seem to have a set procedure of the way they work the field, that is until a fox turns up. I'm going to go over tomorrow morning about five and set the camera up - weather permitting

Well done, all good and some nice low viewpoint shots. You mention the lone Hare, virtually always there will be another not far away, well worth just sitting and waiting to see what turns up
