I used to support 'Scottish Wildcat Action' that ran from 2015 to 2020. Now 'Saving Wildcats' which I also support. However I think you are going to get in-breeding with the domestic moggy wherever they are released. Personally, I would like to see all the action in getting them firmly established in the Scottish Highlands first, then look at other suitable area's of the UK.Originally posted by tigerburnie View PostTrev

Domestic cat free islands seem to be the logical choice to me, get plenty of different genetic pools, then occasionally mix them up to keep the pool strong, domestic cats should be neutered/spayed before being sold.Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English wayComment
