    Red Squirrel

    A trip to my local forest and this wee Squirrel kept me company for around half an hour..

      Luckily this forest seems to free of American interlopers, might be the Pine Martens that keep them at bay.

          I haven't seen one for perhaps 40 years. I had planned to go down to Brownsea Island with a pocket full of hazelnuts last year but the plague nonsense got in the way. Perhaps this year. Nice image which looks sharper on Flickr.
