    Great Shot, however I think it's an adult male (Boar) This year's cubs will only have been above ground within the last three to four weeks and are about the size of a rabbit by this time.

      Thanks Trev for looking and your information. We had 3 come down and he was the smallest. Maybe he is from last year. Buy, once again thanks for the information. I will edit the wording.

          Chris I should have mentioned. I don't know where you live but Badger Cubs in the south-west of the country are born during the first two weeks of February, this gets later as you move north - i.e. in Scotland it can be as late as May. Might be worth checking out your local badger sett for cub activity - they usually come out playing around the sett entrance once the adults have gone foraging. There is no Gestation period with badgers owing to the process of 'Delayed Implantation'
