              Thanks - They are largely unfazed by us popping in & out of the house - we often get the "What are you doing in my orchard?" stare from them.

                Great capture John and viewed on Flickr it's possible to appreciate just how detailed it is. Hand held or tripod?

                I see you used a 1.4 extender and I'm thinking of getting one for my 100-400 (Mk1).

                        I would suggest thoroughly testing a 1.4 converter on a 100-400 MK1 before commiting. Having owned the MK1 I would not use a 1.4 converter with it, though I have done so with the MKII with good results.
